Italian au pair

I am a postgraduate student of the University of London extremely keen to improve my French. I will be spending the autumn and winter studying part-time at La Sorbonne, and hope to work as an au-pair during that period. I have worked as a babysitter for three years in Milan, where I went to Cattolica University, and looked after a boy and girl between the ages of six and eight. I have also worked as an au-pair in London, where I have now lived for more than two years. It would be wonderful to live with a French family this autumn and take care of their children; I hope very much to be able to use my experience and enthusiasm in this capacity.

My studies have been in history of art, and more recently Renaissance culture and intellectual history. I trained for years as a professional ballet-dancer, and enjoy the arts in all their forms, going regularly to ballet, opera, and art galleries, while playing the piano is also a great passion. One of my postgraduate courses concerns the management of the arts, and my ambition is to work in a management capacity in a prestigious museum. To spend this period in Paris will, I am sure, be an invaluable experience, and will be enriched by employment as an au-pair avec une famille sympa française.
