1st aid trained, native english speaker seeking work for summer 2012

Dear families, i am a student at the university of warwick studying english and french. out of term-time i live in london with my parents, older sister, younger brother and a very stroppy ginger cat. in my spare time i enjoy reading, drawing and spending time with my family and friends. i love travelling and learning languages and speak french well and conversational italian and german. i hope to find work as an au pair in a francophone country this july for a month as i am keen to improve my spoken french and learn more about different cultures and people. i really enjoy working with children and would ideally like to become a teacher specialising in english, french or art after i have finished at university. i've had a lot of experience looking after children of all ages, having frequently helped my parents take care of my younger brother and having regularly worked as a babysitter for several families. i am a keen cook and would be more than happy to help out with making healthy meals. please feel free to contact me for further information or references. i look forward to hearing from you! vanessa
