Dear Au pair,
my name is Sonia, I’m 39, I’m part-time employee, my husband’s name is Piero, he’s 49, he’s engineer, we work for the same company. We have 3 children: Riccardo and 2 twins – Lorenzo and Edoardo
We live in a residential area near Turin (the town that hosted the last winter Olympic games in 2006), in a house with garden. The Au Pair we will host will have her own bedroom and bathroom. The village where we live – Rosta – is well linked up to the town: it takes 20 min. to reach the city centre by train.
We have already had a German Au Pair in 2005, when Riccardo was 1 and I have to say it has been a great experience for us and for him; we are still in touch with Laura (that’s her name) and with her family, When I was 22 I was also Au Pair in Germany (near Frankfurt) and I’m still in touch with my host family, even though so much time has passed!
We have a lovely 19 years old cat, he’s like a “son” for me…!
All kids go to kindergarten, but when they are all at home after school I really need help!
The girl we are looking for must have a driving license and driving experience, because it could happen she will have to bring the kids to school by car: a big responsibility!
The Au Pair could attend a course in Italian – if she would like to – in Turin, the same course Laura attended when she was here.
What do I expect from an Au Pair: HONESTY, RESPONSIBILITY, TRUSTINESS, a lot of love to children and the will to “work” with my sons.
We will of course do our best to make her feel like she was a member of our family!
